GSL 142: Tower of the Compass Rose

In Games in Schools and Libraries episode 142 Donald and Chris talk about their experiences crafting and running adventures set in the world they created using Microscope.

The Tales of the Compass Rose are a series of 8 Dungeon World scenarios set in the town of Cadastral. The focus of the campaign is the Compass Rose - an artifact that keeps demons from invading this reality and devouring the essence of the dead god who’s body is the foundation of the world.

For this event they crafted the town of Cadastral, the Tower of the Compass Rose, several places of power, forest scatter, a crystal powered airship, a variety of props, and numerous quality of play tokens.

The event was tested by library patrons and run at the SCARAB Gaming Convention Jan 17-20, 2020, in Columbia SC. It will be run for patrons summer 2020. Check out our pictures!
